Eucharistic Ministers (Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion)
Serving in the Liturgy of the Church in any capacity is something we do for God and our faith community, to help the celebration flow smoothly in a reverent praise to God. This is particularly true for the ministers of Holy Communion because we hold in our hands the Body of Christ, which we must handle in faith with dignity and respect. It is both a joy and a responsibility to be able to bring this wonderful gift of God to His people. This ministry is not a right or a duty, but a privilege, and should be entered into with humility, gratitude, and a sincere desire to serve the Lord and His people.
